Two Ways To Install CloudStream Repositories

Standard Setup

Manual URL or Shortcode

1. Open the app → tap Settings icon at the bottom right.

2. Go to Extensions → tap Add Repository.

3. Paste the repository URL or short code from the list.

4. Install whichever extensions or plugins you want from inside it.

5. Go to Home → tap “None” at bottom right → select your extension and start watching.

Direct Setup

One Click (Android Only)

1. Tap the Direct Install button next to any repository.

2. The app opens automatically, tap Open Repository.

3. Browse all available extensions inside that repo.

4. Tap the download icon next to whichever plugin you want.

5. Go back to Home → tap “None” → pick your extension → enjoy.

Want to manage updates yourself instead? Some users prefer to control when things update, especially if a plugin change affects a setup that was working perfectly. If you’re using multiple CloudStream Repositories and Extensions, manually managing updates gives you more control over when new extensions and fixes are installed. To turn off auto-updates:

Open SettingsSelect Updates and BackupNavigate to Automatic Plugin UpdatesToggle it OFF

From that point, everything stays exactly as you left it until you manually refresh.
