Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: May 2026 Website: cloudstreamdownload.com
Terms & conditions, That nobody reads & we know that. You know that. So we wrote this one the way we’d want to read it, short sections, plain words, no paragraph that exists just to confuse you into agreeing to something you didn’t mean to.
Read what applies to you. Everything important is here, and none of it is hidden.

1. Who We Are — And Who We Aren’t
Cloudstreamdownload.com is an independent website. We write guides, explain how things work, and provide a verified download link for CloudStream, a free, open-source Android media player built by the reCloudStream community on GitHub.
Here’s the part that actually matters: we didn’t build CloudStream. We’re not the developers. We’re not officially affiliated with the GitHub project or the reCloudStream organization. We’re a site that covers the app, explains how to use it, and makes it easier to find a clean download.
Think of us as the people who wrote the manual, not the people who built the car.
By using this website, you’re agreeing to what’s written here in terms & conditions. If something doesn’t sit right with you, you don’t have to stay.
2. What We Actually Do Here
This site provides:
1. Guides and tutorials for downloading, installing, and setting up CloudStream
2. A verified APK download link
3. Repository and extension information
4. Device-specific setup guides for Android, Fire Stick, Android TV, and PC
This site does not provide:
1. Hosted video content of any kind
2. Pirated movies, shows, or copyrighted media
3. Extensions or repositories that store or host media files
4. Any streaming service whatsoever
We point you toward the app. What you do with it after that is between you and your screen.
3. About the App Itself
CloudStream runs under a GPL-3.0 open-source license. That means it’s legal to download, install, and use, in the same category as VLC, Kodi, or MX Player. Nobody’s doing anything wrong by having it on their device.
The way it works is through a repository and extension system, community-built add-ons that connect to third-party sources across the internet. Neither this website nor the app’s developers host or control any of that content.
What you choose to stream is your own call. Some content through certain extensions might bump into copyright laws depending on where you live. That varies by country, and we genuinely can’t make that determination for you. If you’re unsure about something, look it up before you stream it.
4. Who Owns What
The guides, tutorials,, and written content on this site — that’s ours. You’re welcome to link to it, share it, or reference it. You’re not welcome to copy it wholesale and post it somewhere as your own work.
The CloudStream app belongs to its open-source community under GPL-3.0. That license governs what can be done with the code; it has nothing to do with us. The official GitHub repository is where those terms live.
Movies, shows, and everything else accessible through CloudStream repositories belong to whoever made them. We have no claim over any of it.
5. Copyright and DMCA
This site doesn’t host copyrighted content. Full stop.
The APK we link to is the official open-source build. The app itself doesn’t host content either — it connects to sources that already exist on the internet through the extension system.
Extensions and repositories are built by independent developers in the community. If you’re a copyright owner and something inside that ecosystem is a problem, the right place to raise it is the reCloudStream GitHub organisation. That’s where the extension system actually lives. Not here.
If something on this website,, specifically, an article, a guide, a page, is infringing on something you own, reach out through our contact page, and we’ll deal with it properly.
6. No Guarantees — Honestly
We keep guides updated and links verified as best we can. But we can’t promise:
- The app runs perfectly on every device, every time
- Every streaming link through every extension always works
- Third-party repositories stay active and maintained forever
- Content available through extensions is legal wherever you happen to be
Things break sometimes. Sources go down. Repositories get abandoned. We update what we can when we can, but we’re not liable for things that sit outside our control.
7. External Links
We keep guides & Our Terms & Conditions updated and links verified as best we can. But we We link to other places, GitHub, Blue Stacks, the Downloader app, and others. Once you’re on their site, their rules apply. We don’t run those sites, and we’re not responsible for what’s on them.
Worth checking their policies if any of that matters to you.
8. How We Expect People to Use This Site
Pretty simple:
- Don’t use it for anything illegal
- Don’t try to break or access parts of it you’re not supposed to
- Don’t copy and republish our content as your own
- Don’t present this site as an official CloudStream developer page, it isn’t one
That last point is worth repeating. If someone’s telling you this site has official status, it doesn’t have, that’s something we’d want to know about, too.
9. Liability
We’re not liable for damage to your device from installing the APK, content streamed through third-party extensions, data loss, service interruptions, or any legal situation arising from how you use the app in your country.
Download from verified sources. Use a VPN if your privacy matters to you. Make sensible decisions. That’s genuinely the whole advice.
10. When These Terms Change
If the terms & conditions change, the date at the top changes with them. Anything meaningful gets noted clearly; we’re not the type to bury an important update in line 47 of a paragraph you’d never reach.
Staying on the site after a change means you’re okay with the updated version.
11. Questions
Something here doesn’t make sense? Something feels off? Before accepting these Terms & Conditions, use the contact page and ask directly. You’ll get a real answer, not a copy-paste response that ignores what you actually asked.
